Preparation Guide
- Rinse raw rice flour if clumpy. No soaking needed.
- Open pan: Boil water (2.5 cups) & flour (1 cup), stirring to porridge. Cook uncovered 5-7 mins on low. Use for puttu or appam.
- Closed pan: Mix flour (1 cup) with water (2 cups) to batter. Bring to boil, cover & simmer 8-10 mins. Stand 5 mins off heat for dosa batter base.
- Raw rice flour suits instant batters but roast lightly first for best texture.
